Political Poetry Contest

Nothing gets more political that poetry! With election day right around the corner, I challenge you to write at least one political poem in the comments below. Whether you're a democrat or a conservative, red or blue or green or magenta, or whatever, I encourage you to pen your thoughts below. There are no stipulations for which form the poem should be in (I would suggest a limerick, as it lends itself to satire). I, too, will be posting a political poem as the elections close. Submissions are due November 6th and I will announce the winner on November 7th as a separate blog post. Happy writing, and remember to vote! Your voice is as important in politics as it is in verse.
